Enova by Veolia in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Fire Safety Engineer to maintain, test, and optimise fire detection, alarm, suppression, and protection systems within healthcare facilities. You will ensure life safety, HTM 05 compliance, and uninterrupted clinical operations.

You will inspect equipment, coordinate with HSE and clinical teams, and supervise contractors while maintaining accurate records and contributing to continuous improvement in fire safety practices.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 7 years of total experience in fire safety systems or related engineering services.
• At least 3 years in healthcare facilities.

Aufgaben

• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of fire detection, alarm, suppression, and related systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, functional testing, and troubleshooting for reliability.
• Ensure fire alarm systems and interfaces operate across clinical and non‑clinical areas.
• Review HTM 05 series guidance and ensure compliance.
• Inspect pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, extinguishers, and protection equipment.
• Coordinate testing, maintenance, and impairment controls to minimise disruption.
• Supervise contractors and ensure safety, quality, and contractual compliance.
• Coordinate with HSE, clinical departments, and engineering teams during activities.
