The role requires hands-on ML with healthcare datasets, strong Python or R, and advanced SQL, plus familiarity with healthcare data standards and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline related to data science.
• 2+ years of hands-on data science with healthcare datasets.
• Experience building predictive models and evaluating ML solutions.
• Strong Python or R, advanced SQL for data extraction and feature engineering.
• Familiarity with ICD-10/11, CPT, SNOMED CT, LOINC, HL7 or FHIR.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evaluate machine learning models for healthcare use cases.
• Create predictive analytics to support clinical decision making and patient outcomes.
• Model EHR, claims, pharmacy, lab and operational data with robust validation.
• Collaborate with clinicians, operations, finance and IT stakeholders.
• Ensure data governance, privacy, and ethical AI practices.
