Job summary

ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC T&D in Abu Dhabi seeks an HSE professional to conduct daily workplace assessments, inspections, and monitoring in line with the Project HSE action plan. You will report deviations to senior management and assist with HSE documentation.

You will help implement project HSE requirements, regulations, and client requirements, monitoring construction activities and site inspections to ensure compliance with MSRA, PTW, and lifting plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• OSHA General and Construction certification preferred.
• Experience in Accident Reporting and Investigation is required.
• Fire safety and first aid knowledge is essential.
• Strong English skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).

Responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day workplace assessments, inspections, and monitoring of all HSE aspects per the Project HSE action plan.
• Report deviations to senior management and assist in HSE documentation.
• Assist in implementing project HSE requirements, HSE regulations, and client requirements.
• Monitor construction activities and facilities inspection per the HSE inspection plan.
• Follow up on MSRA, PTW, lifting plans and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on walk-down actions and performance review actions.
• Report incidents such as unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near-misses, or accidents.
• Have the right to stop unsafe work or nonconformity works as per HSE plan.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct day-to-day workplace assessments, inspections, and monitoring of all HSE aspects per the Project HSE action plan. Report any deviations to senior management, with assistance in HSE documentation.

Assist the senior and lead level in following up on the implementation of the project HSE requirements, HSE regulations, all relevant legislation and client requirements.

Participate with the senior and lead level in monitoring the construction activities and facilities inspection and make sure that these are executed as per the project HSE inspection and testing plan.

Follow up on the implementation of all actions, works and services undertaken by the site functions in accordance with the respective of the MSRA, PTW, lifting plans and corrective action plans.

Follow up on the actions with the subcontractors as per the walk-down results, meeting actions, and the performance review action plans.

Report any incidents that happen in his area such as: Unsafe acts, Unsafe conditions, near-misses, or Accidents

Have the right to stop unsafe work or nonconformity works against the project HSE plan, company procedures, or HSE standards.

Basic Requirements:
