Cigna Healthcare in Dubai seeks a motivated UAE National for a Trainee Underwriter role. You will support the underwriting team in assessing risks for individual and group health insurance policies and participate in training to develop underwriting skills.

You will learn from senior underwriters, prepare documentation, maintain records, and communicate with clients and brokers while complying with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a UAE National.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Eagerness to learn and develop a career in underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing and evaluating risks for potential clients to determine coverage needs and premium costs.
• Work closely with senior underwriters to learn underwriting principles and practices.
• Prepare and review underwriting documentation and reports.
• Support the underwriting team in maintaining accurate records and databases.
• Communicate with clients, brokers, and stakeholders to gather necessary information.
