Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Head Sommelier – Chinese to lead the resort’s Beverage team and elevate wine service to a luxury standard. The role focuses on developing wine lists, training staff, and delivering personalized experiences for members and guests.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in sommelier roles within luxury settings, a certified sommelier qualification, fluent English, and a passion for wine and hospitality. This on-site position offers competitive pay in AED and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sommelier experience in luxury hotel, fine-dining, or resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of global wine regions, varietals, vintages, and food pairing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and uphold Wynn Al Marjan Island values, wine program standards, and service excellence across the sommelier team.
• Act as a Wynn brand ambassador, building relationships with staff, guests, and partners.
• Oversee wine list development, team knowledge, and safety standards in luxury service.
• Provide expert wine recommendations and personalized experiences for members and guests.
• Plan and lead wine tastings, seminars, and staff training sessions.
