Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Head of Year - Primary for Yasmina British Academy in Abu Dhabi to commence in Academic Year 2026/2027. The role requires secure knowledge of teaching the English UK/English National Curriculum and a proven track record of raising standards and closing gaps in learning.

The successful candidate will lead a primary department, work collaboratively with staff, and align with our ethos and regional values, joining a supportive school family community.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement policies and practices for the department in line with the school’s vision and high standards of achievement.
• Establish, monitor and evaluate short, medium and long term plans for department development.
• Use data to identify underachieving students and create action plans.
• Analyse and interpret school data to inform department and SEF.
• Ensure appropriate schemes of work for all year groups including SEN/POD, G&T and EAL.
