Job summary

Client of FinTop Consulting seeks a senior technology leader to own the exchange and OTC technology environment end-to-end. This is a hands-on role in a small senior technology function, collaborating with external technology partners to deliver production-ready solutions.

You will manage exchange technology vendors, oversee deployment governance, and ensure readiness for audits and regulatory reviews while working closely with the trading team to ensure availability and performance.

Job description

Job Description We are looking for a senior technology leader to take end-to-end ownership of the exchange and OTC technology environment This is a hands-on ownership role within a small senior technology function working closely with external technology and development partners

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technology of the CEX and OTC platform end to end
• Manage exchange technology vendors and outsourced development partners including integration acceptance SLAs and escalations
• Own production readiness release governance QA UAT gates and deployment approvals
• Oversee KYC KYT market surveillance custody and wallet integrations payment rails and market data
• Support regulatory technology requirements and provide technical evidence for audits
• Work closely with the dealing team on trading-system availability telemetry and incident response
• Evaluate and challenge third-party exchange technology and ensure production readiness

Requirements

• 7 10 years of overall technology experience including 2 5 years in digital assets exchanges brokerage or regulated fintech
• Previous experience as a senior technology owner of a trading venue exchange or regulated financial platform
• Experience taking a platform from pre-launch through live production or operating through a full regulatory audit cycle
• Strong understanding of order lifecycle matching and execution clearing settlement ledger reconciliation and order-book mechanics
• Experience with FIX REST APIs WebSockets market data and trading connectivity
• Understanding of liquidity-provider market-maker and OTC trading workflows
• Experience managing white-label or third-party trading technology vendors
• Strong understanding of release management change control deployment rollback and production handover
• Experience working within a regulated environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with Fireblocks BitGo Copper or comparable custody solutions is advantageous
• Exposure to KYC KYB KYT Travel Rule sanctions screening and market surveillance solutions
• Comfortable reviewing architecture APIs logs and technical implementations
• Working knowledge of Python or Node js and cloud infrastructure
• Excellent English communication skills
