Job summary

Client of FinTop Consulting in Dubai seeks a Lead SRE to own production infrastructure reliability, security operations, and technology controls in a regulated fintech environment.

This hands-on leadership role requires managing AWS, Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), IAM/PAM, incident response, disaster recovery, and regulatory evidence. You will collaborate with security partners, auditors, and stakeholders to ensure uptime and compliance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in SRE/DevOps/DevSecOps or infra engineering in regulated environments.
• Strong AWS and Kubernetes production experience with IAM/PAM controls.
• IaC proficiency with Terraform/Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience responding to incidents, RCA, and DR testing.
• Familiarity with audits/regulatory controls (ISO 27001/SOC 2 desirable).

Responsibilities

• Own production infrastructure monitoring, access control, and capacity planning.
• Operate Kubernetes in production and maintain Terraform/Ansible IaC.
• Define RTO/RPO and conduct failover testing with security partners.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation and security findings with SOCs/CISOs.

Job description

An exciting opportunity is available with a regulated digital-assets and financial technology platform entering an important launch phase As Lead SRE Technology Operations DevSecOps you will have direct ownership of production infrastructure reliability security operations and technology controls This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work closely with senior technology leadership security partners and external stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

Own production infrastructure monitoring and access control Manage AWS cloud infrastructure networking segmentation and capacity planning Operate and maintain Kubernetes environments in production Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform Ansible or equivalent Design and maintain IAM PAM controls least-privilege access and periodic access reviews Own CI CD pipelines deployment automation and approval controls Establish monitoring and observability across metrics logs and traces Lead incident response triage restoration RCA and corrective actions Develop and maintain runbooks escalation processes and on-call procedures Own backup restore processes and disaster recovery testing Define and validate RTO RPO requirements and conduct failover testing Coordinate security operations with external CISO SOC partners Manage vulnerability remediation penetration testing and security findings Maintain secrets certificates and infrastructure hardening standards Support technology controls audit requirements and regulatory evidence Oversee vendor performance access rights SLAs and material incident reporting

Digital Assets / Crypto Exposure

Experience in digital assets is highly desirable particularly exposure to Wallet and custody infrastructureHot warm and cold wallet environmentsFireblocks BitGo or similar custody platformsKey management and signer accessWithdrawal approval and multi-signature controlsBlockchain nodes or RPC infrastructureDeposit and withdrawal pipelinesKYT and blockchain analytics toolsCrypto experience is a strong advantage but is not mandatory Strong SRE DevSecOps professionals from regulated fintech banking brokerage or payments environments will also be considered

Requirements

6 years of hands-on experience in SRE DevOps DevSecOps platform or infrastructure engineering 2 years of experience in fintech banking brokerage payments exchanges or another regulated audited environment Strong production-level AWS or equivalent cloud experience Proven Kubernetes experience in production Strong Terraform Ansible or equivalent IaC experience Experience with IAM PAM privileged access and access reviews Strong incident management RCA disaster recovery and business continuity experience Experience working with security teams SOCs CISOs or managed security providers Exposure to vulnerability management and penetration testing Experience supporting audits regulatory controls or frameworks such as ISO 27001 SOC 2 is highly desirable Strong written and spoken English with the ability to communicate with auditors and technical stakeholders
