Job summary

Abu Dhabi Investment Council is seeking a Head of Talent Management to shape how we grow, develop, and retain top professionals in sovereign investment. You will own learning and development strategy, design in-house training, manage vendors, and build a value-driven training budget.

You will lead succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership development, while championing Emirati talent and aligning human capital with long-term strategy across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Learning & Development or Talent Management in financial services or a high-performance environment.
• Strong grasp of instructional design principles and applying them in a corporate setting.
• Familiarity with the language and rhythms of investment management for portfolio managers and operations teams.
• Excellent project management instincts managing multiple programmes, timelines, and stakeholders.
• Polished English communication with senior leaders and meticulous written materials.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; CIPD/SHRM or equivalent accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the learning and development strategy and its execution from needs analysis to evaluation.
• Design, deliver, and continuously improve ADIC's in-house training calendar and budget.
• Select and manage external vendors and subject-matter experts; curate content for investment context.
• Strengthen succession planning, performance management, and talent reviews.
• Drive talent and career programmes, including promotion assessments and leadership development initiatives.
• Champion Emirati talent development and lead Individual Development Plans across departments.
• Be a trusted partner across the business, identifying capability gaps and aligning HC with priorities.
