Black Pearl is recruiting a Head of Talent Management & Development for a confidential investment organisation in Abu Dhabi. The role leads Learning & Development, succession planning, performance management and leadership development to turn business priorities into practical programmes.

The candidate will strengthen career pathways, support UAE national talent growth, and collaborate with Human Capital leadership and department heads to shape talent strategies and graduate development

Qualifications

• Senior HR professional with expertise in Learning & Development, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development.
• Experience turning business priorities into practical development programmes.
• Strong data-driven approach to talent analytics and career progression.
• Proven ability to design graduate development and Emirati talent programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop a learning strategy addressing current capability gaps and future needs.
• Oversee the annual learning programme including needs assessment, design, provider selection, budgets and evaluation.
• Partner with investment and corporate teams to create relevant development experiences for specialists.
• Lead talent reviews and succession planning, identifying successors and development priorities.
• Support consistent performance assessment through manager guidance and calibration discussions.
• Develop career progression and promotion frameworks with clear advancement paths.
• Build leadership programmes to prepare high-potential employees for broader responsibilities.
• Create and monitor Individual Development Plans for Emirati employees with managers.
• Design structured graduate development and onboarding programmes for early-career talent.
• Use talent data and programme outcomes to assess progress and suggest improvements.

Working closely with Human Capital leadership and department heads, you will turn business priorities into practical development programmes, strengthen career pathways, and support the growth of UAE national talent.

Your responsibilities:
