Job summary

HR WAYS is seeking a Senior/Head/VP of Product Design to own and lead the design vision, strategy, and execution for our products. This leadership role blends strategic direction with hands-on design, shaping narratives, systems, and prototypes across platforms.

You will mentor a team of designers, collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Marketing, and strive for user-centric, high-impact experiences that drive growth and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or related fields.
• At least 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience scaling design teams in fast-paced tech environments.
• A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work across platforms (web, mobile, apps).
• Deep understanding of user research, design systems, and product lifecycle collaboration.
• Ability to think strategically while contributing hands-on design work.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end product design strategy, ensuring alignment with the product vision and business goals.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of UX/UI designers, visual designers, and design leads.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to deliver seamless and impactful user experiences.
• Build and maintain design systems, processes, and workflows that ensure consistency, efficiency, and innovation across products.
• Advocate for user-centric design thinking at every level of product development.
• Be hands-on when required, leading by example in design critiques, conceptualization, and prototyping.
• Continuously elevate the visual and interaction quality of digital products.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and infuse modern design practices into the teams work.
• Partner with leadership to align design outcomes with business KPIs and product metrics.
