Taaleem Holdings in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a dynamic Head of Department to lead teaching staff and oversee the curriculum delivery in the relevant department across an international school setting. You will drive quality assurance, monitor student outcomes, plan annual timetables, and collaborate with the leadership team to raise standards.

Experience in DSIB/CIS style inspections and UAE teaching eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in education or relevant degree.
• Experience: At least three years in a middle leadership role.
• Competencies: Experience with DSIB, NEASC, CIS or similar school inspection/accreditation authority.
• Fully qualified to teach in the UAE.

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement and review the curriculum within the framework of the school's aims and objectives.
• Oversee teaching within the department through schemes of work.
• Plan, administer and monitor curriculum delivery.
• Monitor data to develop action plans for student outcomes.
• Ensure regular assessment and standardised tasks.
• Manage materials, equipment, and budget within allocated resources.
• Oversee staff and participate in appointments and development.
