Job summary

Amazon Middle East and North Africa FZ-LLC is seeking a strategic AMET Head of Pre-Construction to drive engineering design phases for fulfillment centers, distribution hubs, and fast-delivery projects across AMET. You will oversee site selection, budget estimates, concept and schematic design through construction readiness, ensuring launches meet time, quality, and financial targets.

Qualifications

15+ years in construction management, pre-construction, or related disciplines with progressive leadership responsibility.
10+ years leading development and pre-construction activities for logistics facilities and critical infrastructure.
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architecture, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
Master's degree and professional certifications (PE/LEED/CCM) are preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-construction activities (site selection, evaluation, budget estimates, concept design, schematic, detail design).
Partner with Design & Construction and Real Estate teams to develop construction strategies.
Identify risks, analyze resources, and drive mitigation throughout pre-construction.
Provide leadership to cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
Apply analytical skills to navigate regulations and client requirements.
Communicate with partners and stakeholders on pre-construction matters.
Troubleshoot issues and ensure alignment across teams and regions.
Travel up to 50% across AMET for site evaluations and oversight.
