Job summary

ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is seeking a Unit Head for Program & Project Management Governance in Abu Dhabi (UAE Nationals Only). You will lead the governance framework across technology programs, ensuring lifecycle controls, investments and regulatory compliance are met while building a capable PM Governance team.

You will establish standards, mentor UAE national staff, and provide timely governance insights to technology leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the Technology project governance framework, policies, standards, templates and decision rights.
• Govern project lifecycle stage gates, required deliverables, approvals and closure requirements.
• Provide governance guidance to sponsors, program managers and delivery teams.
• Lead independent project health checks, quality reviews and assurance assessments.
• Monitor scope, schedule, cost, risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
• Maintain audit readiness and support regulatory reviews.
• Own portfolio dashboards, data quality controls and reporting calendars.
• Coordinate portfolio governance forums with stakeholders.
• Develop UAE National development plans and succession readiness.
• Promote accountability, transparency and continuous improvement.
