Job Specification:

The Head of Multimedia is responsible for leading the Multimedia & Production Department by defining the organization's multimedia strategy, creative vision, and operational direction. The role oversees the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of all multimedia activities, including video production, cinematography, photography, motion graphics, audio engineering, post-production, live streaming, and digital content creation. The Head of Multimedia ensures the delivery of innovative, high-quality multimedia content that strengthens brand identity, supports commercial growth, and maximizes audience engagement across digital platforms.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia, Film Production, Mass Communication, Fine Arts, Digital Media, Film & Television, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Master's degree in media management, Business Administration (MBA), Project Management, or a related field is an advantage.
• Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2), Media Management, Agile, or Digital Transformation are considered an advantage.

Experience:

• 11+years of progressive experience in multimedia production, broadcasting, digital media, publishing, corporate communications, or creative production.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership or departmental management role.
• Proven experience leading multimedia teams across video production, photography, cinematography, motion graphics, audio engineering, post-production, and live production.
• Demonstrated experience managing high-profile multimedia projects, digital campaigns, corporate productions, conferences, documentaries, and live events.
• Strong experience in strategic planning, departmental leadership, production governance, budget management, and operational excellence.
• GCC or international media experience is considered an advantage.

Skills:

• Comprehensive knowledge of multimedia production workflows, including pre-production, production, post-production, broadcasting, live streaming and multimedia asset management to oversee the successful delivery of complex multimedia projects.
• Strong understanding of professional production software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Audition, DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, and Blender, to effectively guide creative teams and evaluate production quality.
• Knowledge of AI-powered multimedia production tools, digital content technologies, and emerging production innovations to improve productivity, creativity, and operational efficiency.
• Outstanding analytical thinking and decision-making skills with the ability to solve complex operational and production challenges effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino (Tagalog) proficiency is a must.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage departmental budgets, production costs, procurement activities, and resource allocation to maximize financial efficiency while maintaining production quality.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, logistics, equipment management, and vendor performance to ensure efficient execution of all multimedia activities.
• Oversee the creative development and execution of multimedia projects from concept through final delivery to ensure all productions meet organizational objectives and creative excellence standards.
• Provide creative direction for video productions, photography, cinematography, motion graphics, documentaries, podcasts, corporate communications, digital campaigns, and event productions to strengthen audience engagement and brand identity.
• Review scripts, storyboards, production proposals, creative concepts, and multimedia strategies before execution to ensure alignment with editorial, commercial, and organizational priorities.
• Implement quality assurance processes that ensure all multimedia content consistently meets editorial, creative, technical, and brand standards before publication or distribution.
• Represent the Multimedia & Production Department during executive meetings, strategic planning sessions, and stakeholder engagements to provide expert guidance on multimedia initiatives and organizational priorities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, marketing, commercial, digital, and events teams to translate business objectives into impactful multimedia productions that support organizational success.
• Supervise producers, cinematographers, photographers, video editors, motion graphics designers, audio engineers, production coordinators, and technical specialists to ensure high team performance and operational effectiveness.
• Develop strong partnerships with production houses, creative agencies, freelancers, suppliers, and technology vendors to enhance production capabilities and operational flexibility.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, copyright regulations, licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and UAE legal requirements to minimize operational and legal risks.
• Establish departmental objectives, KPIs, governance frameworks, production standards, and operating procedures to improve productivity, quality, and operational consistency.
