Job summary

Al-Futtaim Real Estate is seeking a Head of Learning & Development to build a true learning organisation and strengthen capabilities for today and the future. The role aligns divisional learning with Group priorities and connects development to performance, talent, succession and career growth.

You will influence senior leaders, shape development and career pathways across varied professions and markets, and lead priority programmes in AI, management and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organisational Development, Business, Psychology or related field; master’s degree or professional certification preferred.
• 12+ years’ experience in learning, organisational capability or talent development, including at least five years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven success leading enterprise learning strategies in a complex, multi-business environment; real estate, construction, engineering or asset-intensive sectors preferred.
• Experience in leadership development, national talent programmes, career development, succession-linked learning, technical academies or accreditation pathways.

Responsibilities

• Set the learning strategy: Build a multi-year roadmap that supports business priorities and embeds continuous learning, knowledge-sharing and development ownership.
• Deliver priority learning: Lead Group and divisional programmes in AI, management, leadership and soft skills.
• Develop national talent: Create targeted programmes that accelerate capability, readiness, retention and career progression in relevant markets.
• Build real estate capability: Develop practical learning for Asset Development, Asset Management, Construction and Engineering.
• Connect learning and talent: Link development plans to talent reviews, succession, high-potential programmes, internal mobility and career pathways.
• Create accreditation pathways: Partner with professional bodies and internal experts to establish recognised programmes for priority real-estate roles.
• Lead delivery and impact: Manage the L&D team, budget, platforms, vendors and governance, using data to improve participation, capability and business outcomes.

• Strong strategic, commercial and digital learning capability, including learning technologies, analytics and responsible use of AI.
• Excellent stakeholder influence, team leadership, programme governance, communication and facilitation skills.
• Fluent English; Arabic is advantageous.

What Qualifies You For The Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business, Psychology or a related field; a relevant master’s degree or professional certification is preferred.
