Job summary

Azizi Development UAE is looking for an experienced ID Hospitality and Special Projects Manager in Dubai to lead interior design initiatives for hospitality and high-end special projects. You will manage design teams, oversee project coordination, and ensure the successful delivery of design packages.

Qualifications

• 12 to 20 years of experience in interior design, architecture, or hospitality design projects.
• Proven experience managing interior design teams and complex design coordination tasks.
• Strong background in hospitality or high-end residential design projects.
• Good understanding of construction processes and multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Experience managing furniture, fixtures, and equipment specifications and budgets.
• Ability to lead creative design development while ensuring practical implementation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage interior design teams including senior designers, architects, BIM operators, and junior staff.
• Oversee hospitality and special projects from concept development through detailed design and final delivery.
• Coordinate closely with the interior design technical manager and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop creative design concepts aligned with brand standards, client requirements, and project objectives.
• Manage preparation of material concepts, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment selections.
• Source products, fittings, and materials while coordinating budgets and cost-control strategies.
• Review design proposals, shop drawings, and design documentation for technical accuracy.
• Conduct site surveys when required to evaluate project conditions and support design planning.
• Supervise design quality during design development and construction phases.
• Coordinate architectural design details with engineers and consultants.
• Manage project schedules, design deliverables, and team resources across multiple projects.
• Provide guidance to internal design teams and external consultants on materiality strategies.
• Review and finalize physical material samples during various design stages.
• Ensure effective collaboration with architecture, MEP, and structural teams.
• Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.
