Job summary

Al Islami Foods is seeking a Head of Finance to lead our Finance function through its next stage of growth and transformation. You will partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing and HR to translate financial insight into better decisions.

You will lead a team of 8-10 finance professionals in a fast-moving FMCG environment, balancing hands-on detail with strategic discussion at the leadership level.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of finance experience with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong FMCG or manufacturing background.
• Proven track record in P&L ownership, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in financial controls, audit and compliance.
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing Finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, business planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Own financial reporting, P&L management and performance analysis.
• Drive profitability, cost optimization and working capital management.
• Build and maintain strong financial controls, governance and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee VAT, Corporate Tax, audit and statutory requirements.
• Act as a strategic advisor to the General Manager and leadership team.
• Serve as a true business partner to all functions, challenging and supporting them to deliver results.
• Lead, coach and develop the Finance team, building capability and a high-performance culture.

This role is for a transformational leader who is as comfortable working through operational detail with the team as leading a complex strategic discussion with the leadership team. On any given day, you may be resolving a hands-on finance matter in the morning and shaping a major business decision in the afternoon.

You will lead a team of 8-10 finance professionals, in a fast-moving FMCG environment, your influence will reach well beyond Finance. You will partner closely with every function across the company, from Commercial and Supply Chain to Operations, Manufacturing and HR. Your role will be to turn financial insight into better decisions across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
• CA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 15+ years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior Finance leadership role.
• Strong FMCG or manufacturing background.
• Proven track record in P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting and commercial finance.
• Solid experience in financial controls, audit and compliance.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing Finance teams.
• A transformation mindset, with a record of improving processes, systems and ways of working.
• The agility to switch between operational execution and strategic thinking, and the credibility to influence at every level.
• ERP experience required; SAP exposure preferred.
