Job summary

Green SM is expanding its Dubai operations and seeks a Head of Driver Recruitment to own manpower planning and driver acquisition across the city. You will ensure a robust, high-quality driver supply through hands-on recruitment execution and close collaboration with Operations.

This is a hands-on management role with clear ownership of driver supply targets, recruitment execution, and local team performance.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years in recruitment, workforce acquisition, or frontline ops.
• 2+ years of people management in high-volume environments.
• Experience in mass hiring for ride-hailing, logistics, or similar.
• Solid on-ground recruitment execution in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement city-level driver supply plans for Dubai.
• Lead recruitment campaigns across channels (local hubs, partnerships, referrals, digital sourcing).
• Oversee interviews, screening, onboarding, and compliance checks.
• Track recruitment KPIs and report to leadership; optimize funnel efficiency.

We are seeking a Head of Driver Recruitment to own and execute driver manpower planning and driver acquisition activities across assigned cities in the Dubai. This role is responsible for ensuring sufficient, high‑quality driver supply through effective recruitment execution, operational excellence, and close collaboration with Operations.

This is a hands‑on management role with clear ownership of driver supply targets, recruitment execution, and local team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Driver Supply Planning & Execution

• Execute city‑level driver supply plans to meet demand and growth targets.
• Translate country or regional supply plans into local execution actions.
• Monitor supply health metrics (active drivers, activation rate, readiness).
• Identify supply gaps early and implement corrective actions.

Driver Recruiting & Hiring Execution

• Manage driver hiring through multiple channels, including:
• Local recruitment hubs / walk‑in sessions
• Community outreach and partnerships
• Driver referral programs
• Digital sourcing channels (local job platforms, social media)
• Execute recruitment campaigns aligned with city launches, peak demand, and expansion plans.
• Continuously improve sourcing mix and recruitment funnel efficiency.

Recruitment Operations & Process Management

• Interviews and screening
• Document verification and compliance checks
• Onboarding scheduling and readiness tracking
• Ensure recruitment SOPs and local compliance requirements are followed consistently.
• Improve speed, quality, and candidate experience across the recruitment journey.

Team Leadership & On‑Ground Management

• Manage and coach local recruiters, field teams, and external partners if applicable.
• Set clear targets, execution plans, and performance expectations.
• Ensure strong on‑ground discipline, productivity, and accountability.
• Support capability building of recruitment and field teams.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Track and analyze key recruitment KPIs, including:
• Funnel conversion
• Time‑to‑hire
• Cost‑per‑hire
• Activation and readiness rates
• Provide regular performance updates to Country and Operations leadership.
• Use data to drive operational improvements.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Operations, City, and Marketing teams to ensure:
• Timely onboarding and workforce readiness
• Alignment between supply planning and operational needs
• Support new city launches and peak‑demand planning.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in recruitment, workforce acquisition, or frontline operations.
• 2+ years of people management experience in high‑volume or field‑based environments.
• Strong experience in mass hiring / frontline workforce recruitment, preferably within:
• Ride‑hailing
• Logistics / delivery
• Transportation or operationally intensive industries
• Solid understanding of on‑ground recruitment execution in the Dubai
• Strong execution, operational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Data‑driven and comfortable managing KPIs.
