Job summary

Peergrowth Consultancy Co. seeks a strategic and hands-on Head of Data to lead enterprise data initiatives across the organization.

This role will define and execute data strategy, ensure data governance and quality, and enable the business to leverage data as a strategic asset for decision-making analytics and AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will be techno-functional with experience in large data organizations and implementation of modern data platforms, including data lakehouses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science / Data Science / Information Systems or related field.
• 10 years of experience in enterprise data management with 5 years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on with modern data platforms including Snowflake Delta Lake or similar cloud-based lakehouse solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data governance architecture and analytics frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Cloud and data engineering certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the enterprise data strategy aligned with business goals.
• Establish data governance frameworks ensuring data quality, integrity and compliance.
• Partner with business units to promote a data-driven culture.
• Oversee data architecture lifecycle management and storage solutions.
• Implement and manage data lakehouses using platforms like Snowflake Delta Lake or equivalent.
• Drive adoption of best practices in data engineering, analytics and AI enablement.
• Lead a team of data professionals and foster cross-functional collaboration.
