Job summary

Peergrowth Consultancy Co. seeks a strategic and hands-on Head of Data to lead enterprise data initiatives across the organization.

This role will define and execute data strategy, ensure data governance and quality, and enable the business to leverage data as a strategic asset for decision-making analytics and AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will be techno-functional with experience in large data organizations and implementation of modern data platforms, including data lakehouses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science / Data Science / Information Systems or related field.
• 10 years of experience in enterprise data management with 5 years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on with modern data platforms including Snowflake Delta Lake or similar cloud-based lakehouse solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data governance architecture and analytics frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Cloud and data engineering certifications are a plus.

  • Lead a team of 810 data professionals including data engineers analysts and architects.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration in a lean high-impact environment.
  • Mentor and upskill team members driving operational excellence.
• Techno-Functional Ownership
  • Act as a bridge between technology and business ensuring practical application of data solutions.
  • Manage cloud-based data infrastructure with relevant certifications considered a plus.
  • Ensure scalable and efficient data operations to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
