Job summary

Calo is seeking a Head of Data in Dubai to lead a growing data team and translate data into business impact. You will set the vision, build scalable data foundations, and partner with product, growth, engineering and operations.

This leadership role blends product and commercial exposure to drive growth and smarter decisions. Ideal candidates have experience leading analytics, data science and data engineering teams, excellent communication with executives, and a hands-on approach to data

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional data teams across analytics, data science, and data engineering.
• Strong communication with product growth and executive teams.
• Solid grasp of data fundamentals (SQL, data modeling, metrics definitions).
• Ability to scale data processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead Calo's data strategy across all business lines.
• Manage a cross-functional team of analysts, scientists and engineers.
• Build and scale data processes, infrastructure and tooling.
• Partner with product and business teams to drive growth, efficiency and better decisions.
• Establish clear, consistent metrics and support experimentation.
• Champion a data-driven culture and raise data fluency across the company.
