Job summary

SUNDUS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY & STUDIES BUREAUL.L.C is seeking a senior Data Architect to design, develop, and operate the organization’s data architecture, aligning with strategic goals.

You will define data models, establish roadmaps, govern data standards, and ensure robust data integration and security across enterprise ecosystems. Collaboration with IT and business stakeholders is essential to deliver scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
• Certifications in Data Architecture, Data Management, or Cloud Platforms are a plus.

• Design, develop and operate the entity's data architecture aligning with long-term strategic goals and business priorities.
• Define conceptual, logical and physical data models to support enterprise-wide data management and analytics.

• Design Design develop and operate the entity s data architecture ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals and business priorities
• Define and implement conceptual logical and physical data models to support enterprise-wide data management and analytics
• Establish and maintain architecture roadmaps ensuring scalability security and efficiency of data assets
• Framework Standards Development Develop and enforce data architecture principles standards and best practices for data integration storage and processing
• Define data modeling guidelines and oversee the creation of data dictionaries and metadata repositories
• Ensure compliance with data governance security and regulatory requirements within architectural designs
• Data Integration Management Design and oversee data integration frameworks to enable seamless connectivity between internal and external data sources
• Define and manage data pipelines for extracting transforming and loading ETL data into storage solutions such as data warehouses data lakes and data marts
• Work with IT teams to select implement and maintain data management tools e g MDM data quality tools
• Performance Monitoring Optimization Continuously assess and optimize data architecture performance through regular testing validation and troubleshooting
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance data accessibility security and efficiency
• Ensure proper indexing partitioning and data optimization techniques are applied to maximize query performance
• Stakeholder Collaboration Alignment Collaborate with senior management IT teams and business stakeholders to align data architecture with organizational objectives
• Work with data engineers analysts and governance teams to ensure architectural solutions meet functional and business needs
• Provide guidance and technical leadership on data management initiatives and architectural enhancements
• Technology Assessment Innovation Evaluate emerging data technologies platforms and tools to enhance data architecture capabilities
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess the impact of adopting new data solutions
• Ensure the organization remains at the forefront of best practices in data architecture and management

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field
• Certifications in Data Architecture, Data Management, or Cloud Platforms (e.g., TOGAF, DAMA CDMP, AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer) are a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise data management
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data warehouses, data lakes, and enterprise data frameworks
• Strong background in ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data governance

Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical), metadata management, and reference/master data management
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ArchiMate), and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance regulations
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data architecture solutions
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
