Job summary

Green Power Commodities seeks a high-impact Head of Biofuels in Dubai to lead client outreach, source opportunities, and drive PnL through active trading and deal execution.

You will mentor brokers, monitor market trends, and deliver daily pricing insights while growing a regional portfolio across biogases, biofuels, and carbon credits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in brokerage or physical trading (biofuels/feedstocks preferred).
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Team management or mentoring experience preferred.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive attitude, and passion for market trends.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop your client portfolio by actively seeking new opportunities through direct outreach, including cold calling, and building long-term business relationships.
• Generate leads by creating and maintaining a targeted pipeline to fuel your outreach efforts.
• Own your performance surpassing clear PnL goals.
• Execute trades with precision, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions.
• Engage with clients through calls, online platforms, and face-to-face meetings, ensuring you understand and meet their needs.
• Monitor market trends and provide clients and stakeholders with daily updates on pricing and insights.
• Mentor and support the brokers on the desk.
