Job summary

Green Power Commodities is seeking a Sales Trader to lead growth in the voluntary carbon market, managing client relationships and executing trades. You will build a portfolio with corporate buyers, intermediaries, and project developers, while driving revenue and expanding market reach.

You will provide market intelligence, advise clients and internal teams, and help shape trading strategy in a fast-moving, innovative sector. This role offers growth in a dynamic decarbonisation-focused firm.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of proven experience in voluntary carbon markets.
• Strong network of corporate buyers, project developers and traders.
• Deep understanding of carbon credit standards, pricing, and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proactive, results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Sales Trader, you will play a central role in expanding our presence in the voluntary carbon markets. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, structuring and executing trades, and driving revenue growth. You will also help identify market opportunities and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for corporate clients seeking to meet their climate goals.

As a Carbon Sales Trader you will
