MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading Beverage Distributor on the search for a Head of Beer Education, based in Dubai. This is a permanent role open to those already in the region or willing to relocate to the GCC.

You will lead engaging education across the On-Trade, delivering training, tastings and masterclasses to bartenders, hospitality teams, customers and internal commercial teams. Working with an outstanding international beer portfolio, you will raise standards around product

Qualifications

• Strong professional knowledge of beer, brewing, styles, dispense and service.
• Recognised beer qualification through Cicerone, WSET, IBD or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, structured beer education and training across On-Trade venues.
• Educate bartenders and hospitality teams on beer styles, ingredients, brewing, storage and dispense.
• Run tastings, masterclasses, and educational programmes for customers and internal teams.
• Adapt teaching to different audiences, from experts to beginners.
• Act as a credible beer authority and ambassador within the hospitality community.
• Support activations, trade events and brand experiences across the UAE.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to improve distribution and venue execution.
• Conduct regular trade visits to maintain quality and identify education opportunities.
• Build knowledge across internal Sales, Marketing and Brand teams.

MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading Beverage Distributor on the search for a Head of Beer Education, based in Dubai. This is a permanent role and is open to those already in the region or open to relocating to the GCC.

This is a highly visible role for someone who combines serious beer knowledge with an exceptional ability to teach. You will lead engaging education across the On-Trade, delivering training, tastings and masterclasses to bartenders, hospitality teams, customers and internal commercial teams.

Working across an outstanding international beer portfolio, you'll help raise standards around product knowledge, brewing, dispense and perfect serve, while building genuine passion for the category.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, structured beer education and training both internally and across On-Trade venues
• Educate bartenders, hospitality teams and internal colleagues across beer styles, ingredients, brewing processes, storage, dispense and perfect serve
• Run tastings, masterclasses, workshops and educational programmes for customers and internal teams
• Adapt your teaching style to different audiences, from experienced beer professionals to people beginning their category education
• Act as a credible beer authority and ambassador within the hospitality community
• Support activations, trade events, competitions and brand experiences across the UAE
• Work alongside commercial teams to improve distribution, menu presence, visibility and execution within priority venues
• Conduct regular trade visits to maintain quality standards and identify opportunities for further education
• Build knowledge and capability across internal Sales, Marketing and Brand teams
• Represent the business confidently with customers, consumers and international brand partners

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong professional knowledge of beer, brewing, styles, dispense and service
• A recognised beer qualification through Cicerone, WSET, Institute of Brewing & Distilling (IBD) or another highly regarded equivalent
• Previous experience within beer education, training, brand ambassadorial work or hospitality education
• An exceptional communicator and confident presenter who genuinely enjoys teaching others
• Able to take complex technical beer knowledge and make it engaging and accessible
• Strong understanding of the On-Trade and the realities of working with bartenders, venues and hospitality operators
• Confident delivering both one-to-one coaching and training to larger groups
• Energetic, personable and capable of building credibility quickly with customers and the wider trade
• Comfortable working autonomously across multiple venues and priorities
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Open to being based full-time in Dubai, UAE
