Job summary

Gulf Model School in Dubai is seeking an experienced Head of Arabic to lead the Arabic department across CBSE and Kerala Board curricula for KG to Grade 12. The role focuses on curriculum planning, assessment, and staff development.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Arabic or Education, proven leadership in academic coordination, and a track record with CBSE; UAE school experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Arabic, Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Arabic HOD, Academic Coordinator, or Senior Arabic Teacher.
• Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum.
• Experience teaching Arabic to Non-Arabic-speaking students.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant teaching and academic leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, assessment, lesson observation, and academic monitoring.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and support Arabic teaching staff.
• UAE school experience will be an advantage.
