We are seeking for an experienced and results-driven Head of Accounts Receivables to lead our accounts receivable and collections function, ensuring effective credit control, timely collections, and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the accounts receivable and collections team.
• Manage customer billing, invoicing, payment allocation, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely collection of overdue payments.
• Develop and implement effective collection strategies and credit control procedures.
• Prepare and review aging reports, collection forecasts, and receivables performance reports.
• Follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments and resolve billing disputes.
• Coordinate with project, commercial, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Monitor customer credit limits and assess payment risks.
• Oversee monthly closing activities related to accounts receivable.
• Provide regular reports and recommendations to management regarding cash flow and collection performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Supervise, train, and support the accounts receivable team to achieve collection targets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory experience in accounts receivable.
• Experience in the construction or contracting industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of credit control, collections, customer reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and meet collection targets.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate effectively with different departments.
