Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing from a recognised/accredited Nursing Institute
• Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field
• At least 3-5 years' experience in Outpatient setting
• At least five years of senior nursing leadership experience managing a large number of nurses in OPD in a hospital setting

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team
2. To ensure evidence based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards
3. To ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that enables team engagement
4. To manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost efficient and effective manner to enhance safe patient care
5. To monitor and manage compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing from a recognised/accredited Nursing Institute

Desired:Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 3-5 years' experience in Outpatient setting

At least five years of senior nursing leadership experience managing a large number of nurses in OPD in a hospital setting

• Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation)
