The Lana - Dorchester Collection in Dubai, operating via Hosco, seeks a Head Mixologist to lead the luxury beverage program and mentor the bar team. You will craft contemporary cocktails, uphold the brand's esteemed standards, and collaborate with culinary colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Luxury hotel beverage leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to design and implement end-to-end cocktail programs.
• Strong training and mentoring capabilities for bar teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure beverage standards in all areas are exceptional while upholding Dorchester Collection values.
• Train, coach, and mentor the bar team to foster professional development.
• Drive the beverage program quality with deep product knowledge across teams and guests.
• Design innovative, seasonally inspired cocktails reflecting global mixology trends.
• Collaborate with culinary team to develop sophisticated food & beverage pairings for events.
• Establish relationships with premium vendors for exclusive spirits and sustainable ingredients.
• Manage inventory, reduce waste, and control portion standards to maximize profitability.
• Oversee health, safety, food hygiene, and local liquor licensing compliance across bars.
• Maintain all bar tools and equipment in peak condition and readiness.
• Play a key role in sharing beverage knowledge with teams and guests.

• Train, coach, and mentor the bar team, modeling operational excellence and fostering continuous professional development.
• Drive the quality of the beverage program while actively sharing deep product knowledge with both internal teams and hotel guests.
• Design innovative, seasonally inspired cocktail programs that reflect current global mixology trends and enhance the hotel's brand identity.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop sophisticated food and beverage pairings for special events, tastings, and VIP guests.
• Establish relationships with premium vendors to secure exclusive spirits, rare vintages, and high-quality, sustainable local ingredients.
• Manage inventory control, waste reduction, and portion standards to maximize profitability without compromising on luxury quality.
• Oversee strict adherence to health, safety, food hygiene, and local liquor licensing regulations across all bar operations.
• Ensure all specialized bar tools, glassware, and equipment are meticulously maintained and operating at peak efficiency.
• You will play an integral role in the quality of our beverage offerings and will share their knowledge with our teams and guests alike.
