Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the bank's enterprise transformation strategy aligned with business priorities, strategic objectives, and the target operating model.
- Drive large‑scale transformation programmes across retail banking, corporate banking, operations, risk, finance, compliance, technology, and support functions.
- Develop and manage a transformation roadmap with clear KPIs, governance structures, delivery milestones, and value realisation tracking.
- Lead cross‑functional teams and transformation squads to ensure disciplined execution across multiple workstreams.
- Identify process inefficiencies and redesign workflows using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Simplify, standardise, and optimise end‑to‑end banking processes to improve productivity, quality, speed, and control.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, measurable improvement, and customer‑focused execution.
- Lead enterprise adoption of intelligent automation and AI solutions across suitable business and operational areas.
- Drive implementation of RPA, workflow orchestration, generative AI, predictive analytics, and automation‑enabled process improvement.
- Partner with technology, data, cyber security, risk, and compliance teams to deliver scalable and compliant AI‑enabled capabilities.
- Define governance, risk controls, adoption frameworks, and operating standards for automation and AI initiatives.
- Deliver measurable productivity gains, cost efficiencies, customer experience improvements, and scalable operating models.
- Optimise workforce utilisation, service delivery, capacity management, and operational performance.
- Establish data‑driven performance frameworks to track progress, benefits, ROI, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.
- Engage senior stakeholders to create alignment, resolve blockers, and drive adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
- Lead structured change management to support business readiness, communication, training, and sustainable adoption.
- Establish robust governance, PMO standards, prioritisation methods, and delivery frameworks.
- Ensure transformation initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with regulatory, risk, and governance requirements.
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders, technology teams, operations teams, risk functions, finance teams, and external partners.
- Provide executive‑level reporting on transformation progress, value delivery, programme risks, and strategic impact.
- Support the bank's digital transformation agenda by enabling modern, efficient, and customer‑focused operating models.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- 15 years of experience in banking, financial services, consulting, enterprise transformation, operations excellence, or strategic change leadership.
- Proven track record leading large‑scale transformation programmes within banking or highly regulated industries.
- Strong experience across banking operations, customer experience improvement, process transformation, automation, and operating model redesign.
- Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma, preferably Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, continuous improvement, process mapping, and transformation delivery frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience implementing RPA, AI, workflow automation, and intelligent automation platforms.
- Strong ability to drive measurable business outcomes through productivity improvement, cost optimisation, benefits realisation, and ROI tracking.
- Demonstrated analytical mindset with strong data‑driven decision‑making capability.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence senior leadership across complex, matrixed organisations.
