Job summary

Fakeeh Health in the UAE seeks a Senior Treasury Manager to oversee cash flow, liquidity, and treasury operations for the group, including robust cash forecasting and strong banking relationships.

The role drives liquidity optimization, ensures compliance with financial policies, and supports strategic decision-making across hospitals and clinics, including Fakeeh University Hospital and related care centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s or professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA preferred.
• 5–7 years relevant experience in Cash Management, Treasury, Banking, or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and treasury operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP/financial systems like SAP.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize liquidity.
• Monitor daily cash positions, forecast cash flow, and prepare reports for senior management.
• Manage banking relationships, including negotiating fees, services, and credit facilities.
• Oversee electronic payments, wire transfers, and other cash transactions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and suggest improvements to cash management processes and systems.
• Coordinate with accounting/finance teams to reconcile cash accounts.
• Manage short-term investments and borrowing activities to maximize returns.
• Prepare and present cash flow forecasts and variance analyses to senior management.

JOB PURPOSE:

To oversee cash flow, liquidity, and treasury operations, ensuring effective cash management, accurate cash flow forecasting, timely payments, and strong banking relationships. The role is responsible for maintaining adequate liquidity, optimizing cash utilization, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements, and supporting sound financial decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and ensure sufficient funds for operational needs.
• Monitor daily cash positions, forecast cash flow, and prepare reports for senior management.
• Manage banking relationships, including negotiating fees, services, and credit facilities.
• Oversee the execution of electronic payments, wire transfers, and other cash transactions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and recommend improvements to cash management processes and systems.
• Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to reconcile cash accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage short-term investments and borrowing activities to maximize returns and minimize costs.
• Prepare and present cash flow forecasts, variance analyses, and treasury reports to senior management.
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
• Masters Degree / Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA or equivalent is preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in Cash Management, Treasury, Banking, or Finance, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, bank reconciliation, payment processing, and treasury operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP/financial systems such as SAP.
• Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism, with sound knowledge of financial controls and compliance requirements.
