Job summary

Visioneers in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a seasoned Treasurer to manage cash, liquidity, and banking relationships across the Group of companies. The role ensures sufficient working capital, optimizes cash usage, and protects against financial risks.

You will oversee daily cash positioning, forecast cash flows, manage intercompany funding, negotiate credit facilities, monitor covenants, and provide board-ready reporting on treasury matters in line with UAE regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as CTP, ACT, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent preferred.
  • 6–8 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking relationships.
  • Experience managing multi-entity or group-level cash and banking structures preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity across all Group entities and bank accounts.
  • Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts at entity and Group levels.
  • Monitor and optimize intercompany cash movements, pooling arrangements, and funding between entities.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including account structures, signatories, and facility renewals.
  • Negotiate and manage credit facilities, overdrafts, term loans, guarantees, and letters of credit.
  • Monitor covenants relating to existing debt and credit facilities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of payments, transfers, and treasury transactions.
  • Manage foreign currency exposure and hedging strategies where required.
  • Monitor interest rate exposure and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate counterparty and bank credit risks across the Group’s banking relationships.
  • Maintain treasury policies, controls, and approval workflows per Delegation of Authority.
  • Support Director of Finance in assessing funding requirements for capital expenditure, projects, and working capital.
  • Coordinate bank guarantees and performance bonds required for projects and contracts.
  • Provide treasury input into annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
  • Prepare Board and management reporting on cash positions, banking facilities, and treasury risks.
  • Support statutory audit requirements relating to cash, debt, guarantees, and treasury disclosures.

Job Title: Treasurer

Reports To: Director of Finance
Location: Dubai, UAE

Role Purpose

The Treasurer will manage the Group’s cash, liquidity, banking relationships, funding, and financial risks across all Group entities.

The role will ensure that sufficient working capital is available at both entity and Group levels, optimize the utilization of cash, manage banking facilities and debt, and safeguard the Group against foreign exchange, interest rate, and counterparty risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity across all Group entities and bank accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts at both entity and Group levels.
  • Monitor and optimize intercompany cash movements, pooling arrangements, and funding between entities.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including account structures, signatories, and facility renewals.
  • Negotiate and manage credit facilities, overdrafts, term loans, guarantees, and letters of credit.
  • Monitor compliance with covenants relating to existing debt and credit facilities.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate execution of payments, transfers, and treasury transactions.

  • Evaluate counterparty and bank credit risks across the Group’s banking relationships.

  • Coordinate with the Financial Controller and Chief Accountant to align treasury activities with AP and AR cash flow requirements.
  • Support corporate structuring, new bank account openings, and entity-level banking setup.
  • Perform other treasury and funding-related responsibilities assigned by Finance management.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as CTP, ACT, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking relationships.
  • Experience managing multi-entity or Group-level cash and banking structures is strongly preferred.
  • Experience negotiating credit facilities and managing banking relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange, and interest rate risk management.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion or a similar ERP/treasury system is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
