Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a senior privacy and data governance professional to build and operate the privacy controls across cloud services and AI workflows. The role requires hands-on design and operation of RoPA, DPIAs, data classification, retention, and incident support in a tech-driven environment.

You will work with Tech, Information Security, Legal and Operations to embed privacy-by-design and ensure regulatory readiness and audit support.

Qualifications

• Strong background in data protection, privacy, or information security within tech/fintech environments.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating privacy controls across cloud services and data platforms.
• Familiarity with RoPA, DPIA, data classification, retention controls and privacy incident support.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate privacy and data governance programme, including policies, standards, and controls.
• Own data mapping and Records of Processing Activities across cloud services, data platforms and AI/ML workflows.
• Lead DPIAs and data risk assessments for products and AI use cases; embed privacy-by-design in architecture and SDLC.
• Manage data subject rights operations, exposure management, and incident support with cross-functional teams.
