Job summary

Damen Shipyards Group is establishing an AI Value Lab and seeks an AI Solution Developer to rapidly translate business opportunities into PoCs, MVPs, and scalable AI-powered solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data and AI experts, and tech teams to test technologies and transition successful experiments into reliable business outcomes.

The role emphasizes technical curiosity, hands-on building, and delivering measurable business value while promoting responsible use of AI

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, AI, or related field.
3–6 years of solution development, automation, or digital transformation.
At least 2 years hands-on experience with AI technologies or AI-enabled solutions.
Experience delivering business applications or digital products.
Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to solve complex problems.
Experience in fast-moving, innovation-focused environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

Build AI solutions: translate business challenges into PoCs, prototypes, MVPs.
Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications, copilots, intelligent agents, and automation.
Create integrations between AI solutions and business systems via APIs and data sources.
Support transition of prototypes into production-ready solutions; continuous improvement.
Evaluate emerging AI models, tools, frameworks, and technologies.
Test GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar platforms.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand challenges and opportunities; communicate clearly.
Produce demonstrations, training materials, and documentation to support adoption.
