Job summary

Al Zorah Golf Yacht Club in Ajman invites applications for a Gym Attendant to support daily operations of our gym, swimming pool and tennis facilities. You will keep spaces clean, safe and well-maintained while helping members with fitness and recreation.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a gym or service environment, a High School diploma, good English, and basic knowledge of fitness equipment; CPR/First Aid is a plus and a strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a gym, hotel, resort, recreation facility, or customer service environment.
• Basic knowledge of fitness equipment.
• CPR and First Aid certification is an advantage.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Gym, Swimming Pool and Tennis Court to keep areas clean, safe and well-presented.
• Welcome members and guests and provide friendly, professional assistance.
• Assist members with proper use of fitness equipment and promote safe exercise practices.
• Prepare facilities before opening and after closing each day.
• Monitor towels, water and other supplies and report shortages when necessary.
• Report maintenance issues, equipment faults and safety hazards promptly.
• Support setup of leisure activities, events and member programs.
• Ensure members comply with Club rules and health safety procedures.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and assist during emergencies when required.
• Complete daily checklists, maintain operational records and assist with inventory control.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Leisure Supervisor.

Al Zorah Golf Yacht Club is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Gym Attendant to support the daily operations of our Gym Swimming Pool and Tennis Court facilities The successful candidate will ensure all leisure areas are clean safe and well-maintained while delivering excellent service and assisting members with their fitness and recreational needs

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Gym Swimming Pool and Tennis Court to ensure they remain clean safe and well-presented
• Welcome members and guests and provide friendly professional assistance
• Assist members with the proper use of fitness equipment and promote safe exercise practices
• Prepare facilities before opening and after closing each day
• Monitor towel water and other facility supplies and report shortages when necessary
• Report maintenance issues equipment faults and safety hazards promptly
• Support the setup of leisure activities events and member programs
• Ensure members comply with Club rules and health safety procedures
• Conduct routine facility inspections and assist during emergencies when required
• Complete daily checklists maintain operational records and assist with inventory control
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Leisure Supervisor

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a gym, hotel, resort, recreation facility, or customer service environment.
• Basic knowledge of fitness equipment.
• CPR and First Aid certification is an advantage.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
