Job summary

Minor Hotels, operating NH Collection properties in Dubai, seeks an attentive Food & Beverage Attendant to deliver exceptional guest service in our dining outlets. You will take orders, serve dishes and beverages, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment in line with brand standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, hospitality experience, and a passion for hospitality. You will work in a fast-paced setting, upholding HACCP, hygiene, and guest satisfaction at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, café, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Present menus, explain menu items, promotions, and special offers.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Set up, clean, and maintain dining areas before, during, and after service.
• Prepare tables with required tableware, linens, and condiments.
• Clear and reset tables promptly.
• Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown when required.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately following company procedures.
• Follow opening and closing checklists for the assigned outlet.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Promote and upsell food and beverage offerings to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
• Communicate special requests and dietary requirements accurately to the kitchen team.
• Ensure food is served at the correct temperature and presentation standards.
• Adhere to food safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming and professional appearance.
• Ensure cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
• Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Attend departmental meetings and training sessions.
• Support colleagues during peak service periods.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and team members.
