Job summary

Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, is seeking dynamic, self-motivated Food & Beverage professionals to join our team as Waiter/Waitress. You will provide professional service, greet and seat guests, and ensure a memorable dining experience.

You will develop in-depth knowledge of our menu, maintain hygiene and cleanliness, upsell to exceed guest expectations, and work as part of a collaborative F&B team in a high-volume outlet.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or related vocational training.
• Good command of English and guest service/interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all necessary tasks to service food and beverage according to the standard of performance manual of the hotel.
• Greet and seat customers and serve them in a professional, discreet and personalized way.
• Acquire in depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu of the assigned outlet to assist and advise guests.
• Consistently monitor quality of food & beverage being served.
• Attend to customer complaints/queries satisfactorily.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet and upkeep of all service equipment.
• Prepare for service (mise-en-place) before, during and after service.
• Minimise wastage, breakage and spoilage.
• Actively use up selling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.
