Job summary

Accor is seeking a friendly waiter for the Novotel Sharjah Expo Center outlet. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with a high level of courtesy and efficiency. You will ensure hygiene standards and assist with inventory and opening/closing procedures.

The role requires English fluency, prior waiter experience, and familiarity with MICROS POS. A permanent, full-time position is offered within the hotel’s F&B team.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a waiter/waitress.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience operating MICROS POS system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests to their tables.
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses.
• Present menu, provide information, and take orders with courteous service.
• Maintain food hygiene and safety of the outlet and equipment.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the outlet.
• Assist in monthly inventory checks of equipment and supplies.
