Aloft Abu Dhabi is seeking a friendly Front Desk/Host to greet guests, manage seating, and ensure a smooth dining experience. You will guide guests to tables, maintain cleanliness, and support the team in delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and determine the number in their party.
• Seat guests by finding a clean, available table and assisting with seating.
• Guide guests through the dining area and provide needed assistance.
• Move and arrange tables, chairs and settings for groups with special needs.
• Ensure place settings, napkins and silverware are present and clean.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and follow clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and well-being of guests.
• Follow company safety policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Speak with guests using clear, professional language and answer phones with proper etiquette.
• Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Adhere to quality standards and remain in uniform and professional appearance.
