Job summary

Marriott International’s W Hotels brand in Dubai seeks a front-of-house team member to manage dining reservations, greet guests, and seat guests efficiently. You will coordinate seating, maintain wait lists, and ensure guests have a smooth dining experience in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities include assisting management with hiring, training, and scheduling, while maintaining immaculate work areas and professional presentation in line with brand standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and take dining reservations.
• Enter diner information into reservation system.
• Maintain wait list and quote accurate wait time.
• Seat guests by finding a clean, available table and pulling out chairs.
• Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance as needed.
• Ensure correct place settings, napkins, and utensils for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and monitor dining room activity.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees.
