Job summary

Le Méridien Dubai is seeking a front-of-house host to answer phones, take dining reservations, and guide guests to seating, ensuring accurate wait times and smooth service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will greet guests, manage the wait list, maintain cleanliness, support the team, and uphold safety and company standards. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, take dining reservations, and enter diner information into reservation system.
• Maintain wait list and quote accurate wait time; seat guests with proper service standards.
• Greet guests, determine party size, seat guests, and ensure proper place settings.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and cooperate with team to meet guest needs.
• Assist management with scheduling, training, and motivating employees; follow safety policies.
• Speak clearly and professionally, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
