Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a warm, welcoming Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests and to ensure a smooth, memorable dining experience at the lobby, restaurant, and F&B service areas.

As a Hostess, you will manage reservations, greet guests, escort to tables, and coordinate with the Restaurant Manager and service team, maintaining high standards of service, hygiene, and presentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Warm, confident, and outgoing personality with a passion for guest service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Manage restaurant reservations, guest arrivals, and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus when required.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of outlet operating hours, menus, promotions, and hotel facilities.
• Monitor table availability and coordinate closely with the service team to ensure smooth seating flow.
• Answer telephone inquiries and handle reservation requests professionally.
• Recognize returning guests and special occasions and communicate relevant information to the team.
• Assist with guest requests, feedback, and concerns and elevate when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and entrance area.
• Coordinate effectively with the Restaurant Manager, Supervisors, Kitchen, and service team.
• Follow hotel grooming, hygiene, health and safety, and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Outlet Management team.
