Job summary

ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is seeking a Receptionist in Al Ain, UAE. The role involves greeting visitors, handling inquiries, answering calls, and ensuring smooth front desk operations.

You will maintain security procedures, manage calendars and visitor records, respond to emails, and support basic bookkeeping while delivering courteous customer service to clients. Note: UAE Nationals only.

Responsibilities

• Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies personnel of visitor/appointment arrival; maintains security and tele communications system
• Welcomes visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering or referring to inquiries
• Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories and the given instructions
• Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook and issuing visitor badges
• Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Assure the readiness of the reception area for each working day and have all the front desk activities fully operational at the start of the business hours
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Provide information to callers over the telephone
• Respond to emails and correspondence related to their scope of work
• Monitors and update visitor’s records
• Perform basic bookkeeping and record filling
• Perform data entry
• To assist in dealing with customer complaints in an effective and courteous manner, providing or seeking solutions promptly.
• Confirms appointment and maintain event calendar
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Build a good rapport with all clients/visitors and resolve any complaints/issues quickly to maintain high quality customer service
• Monitors the office recycling facilities and schedule
