Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking an Instant Service Centre Ambassador in Dubai Festival City to deliver prompt, courteous service to guests across InterContinental brands. You will handle guest calls, coordinate with team members, and ensure brand standards are met.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in a 5-star hotel, strong English communication, and familiarity with Opera or related systems. Arabic is a plus, and you will join a dynamic, guest-focused team offering room to grow.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in the same role in a 5-star luxury hotel, Call centre or any customer service-related role.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, Arabic language is preferred.
• Previous experience in Opera system is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Able to manage multiple tasks.
• Enthusiastic, courteous & helpful to colleagues & customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous and efficient service to all guests to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Handle incoming calls for InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn & Suites and InterContinental Residences.
• Work closely with team members, Supervisors, Managers and colleagues from other departments.
• Maintain guest privacy by ensuring that no details are disclosed.
• Take ownership of guest requests and notify delays; follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Take ownership of solving guest problems and escalate to Manager on Duty when needed.
• Handle wakeup calls for all brands and follow up accordingly.
• Attend shift briefings and departmental meetings; perform tasks as assigned.
• Be knowledgeable of operating systems (Alcatel, Opera, QEMS, TMS, CCS, Microsoft) to perform tasks promptly.
