Job summary

Sheraton Grand Hotel, Dubai is seeking an enthusiastic hospitality professional to join our Bar team. You will create a pleasant guest experience, manage cultural needs, and identify revenue opportunities while ensuring accurate orders and timely service.

Responsibilities include maintaining bar cleanliness, stocking and inventory, and assisting in training new team members. A strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and high personal hygiene is required for daily service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Project a pleasant and positive professional image to all guests at all times.
• Manage cultural needs and expectations of guests.
• Upselling and identification of additional revenue opportunities.
• Maintain and adhere to billing policies and procedures.
• Punctual attendance to each shift.
• Maintain positive teamwork spirit at all times.
• Accurate and timely delivery of orders to guests.
• Assist Assistant Venue Managers in training new team members.
• Assist with beverage service logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Complete Progress Training and participate in related activities.
• Support departmental objectives and minimize wastage.
• Prepare mixers, cut fruit, receive requisitions, check par levels, refill mixers, get ice, run food, and dispose of garbage.
• Keep bar fully stocked and maintain cleanliness of bar, tables and lounge area.
• Prepare drinks, ensure materials are on hand, and host guest experience.
• Provide opening and closing inventory of spirits and assist with inventories.
