The Learning Development Specialist is responsible for driving the Group s learning and capability development agenda. The role will lead end-to-end learning interventions including training needs analysis, program design, facilitation, leadership development, employee capability building, effectiveness measurement, and learning governance. This is a hands‑on training role requiring a highly skilled facilitator capable of delivering impactful training programs independently across all organizational levels, from frontline employees and individual contributors to middle management, senior leaders, and executives. The role will act as the Group s in‑house trainer and learning consultant, ensuring that development initiatives are aligned with business strategy, organizational culture, and workforce capability requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Training Delivery: Facilitation Primary Design and independently facilitate classroom, virtual and blended learning programs across all employee levels. Deliver corporate training programs covering leadership, communication, collaboration, customer service, performance management, employee engagement, business etiquette and other capability‑building initiatives. Facilitate workshops, management development programs, induction programs and leadership interventions for senior stakeholders. Maintain audience engagement and adapt delivery approaches to diverse learning needs and cultures.
- Learning Needs Analysis: Partner with HRBPs, business leaders and functional heads to identify organizational capability gaps. Conduct competency assessments and recommend learning solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Learning Program Design: Develop training content, facilitator guides, participant materials, assessments and learning journeys. Customize learning interventions for different employee populations and business units.
- Leadership Management Development: Support succession planning and talent development initiatives through targeted leadership programs. Design and facilitate development solutions for supervisors, managers and emerging leaders.
- Training Effectiveness ROI: Implement evaluation methodologies including Kirkpatrick framework and post‑training impact assessments. Measure learning effectiveness, behavioral improvements and business outcomes. Prepare executive‑level dashboards and LD analytics reports.
- Learning Systems Governance: Manage training records, compliance tracking, certifications and learning analytics through Darwinbox and other learning platforms. Ensure training data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Vendor External Learning Partner Management: Evaluate, onboard and manage external trainers, consultants and learning vendors. Ensure quality standards, cost effectiveness and alignment with business requirements.
- Knowledge Requirements: L D Strategy Design Facilitation Expert. Proven expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, facilitation methodologies and capability development. Training Facilitation Presentation Skills Expert. Ability to confidently engage and train audiences ranging from junior employees to senior executives. Strong public speaking, coaching, facilitation and workshop management skills. Leadership Development Advanced Experience delivering supervisory, managerial and leadership development programs. Assessment Evaluation Advanced. Deep understanding of training evaluation frameworks, ROI measurement and learning analytics. HRIS LMS Darwinbox Working to Advanced. Experience managing learning platforms, reports, compliance tracking and learning records.
Key Requirements
- 5-7 years of dedicated Learning & Development experience.
- 3-5 years of hands‑on facilitation and corporate training delivery experience.
- Proven experience conducting instructor‑led training across multiple organizational levels.
- Strong track record in training design, facilitation, capability development, and learning effectiveness measurement.
- Experience working within large, diversified, or multinational organizations.
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- UAE/GCC corporate experience.
- Train‑the‑Trainer, ATD, CIPD, SHRM, Dale Carnegie, FranklinCovey, or equivalent certifications.
- Experience delivering leadership and management development programs.
- Facilitation experience with executive and senior leadership audiences.
