Job summary

Kanadevia Inova is actively seeking a seasoned Senior Sourcing leader to deliver high-quality global procurement outcomes. The role oversees demand management, regional work allocation, and stakeholder reporting, driving supplier qualification and benchmarking across business units.

You will guide a cross-functional team, balance risk with performance, and ensure disciplined use of ERP systems and sourcing processes, while shaping strategic discussions with market insights.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sourcing or strategic procurement.
• Master's/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering or similar.
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus.
• Senior sourcing or lead role experience combining operational delivery and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, complex, or business-critical sourcing across regions and units.
• End-to-end sourcing activities: market analysis, global supplier scouting, pre-qualification, benchmarking.
• Provide senior sourcing expertise in escalated or high-risk situations.
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of Global Sourcing Managers across regions.
• Align goals and priorities with global business needs; allocate work based on complexity and capacity.
• Act as the senior interface between internal stakeholders and the global sourcing organization.
• Coordinate global sourcing initiatives across business units (e.g., Energy from Waste, Renewable Gas, CCS).
• Contribute market intelligence and sourcing insights to strategic discussions.

Job Description

The role is accountable for delivering high‑quality global sourcing outcomes while ensuring effective demand management, prioritization, service levels, and reporting for internal stakeholders

• Personally lead strategic, complex, or business‑critical sourcing across regions and business units.
• Conduct end‑to‑end sourcing activities, including Market analysis, global supplier scouting, Supplier pre‑qualification and benchmarking
• Provide senior sourcing expertise and hands‑on support in escalated or high‑risk situations.
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of Global Sourcing Managers across regions.
• Define clear goals, priorities, and expectations aligned with global business needs.
• Allocate sourcing work between the Team Lead and team members based on complexity, risk, and capacity.
• Act as the senior interface between internal stakeholders and the global sourcing organization.
• Proactively capture and consolidate global sourcing demand across business units and functions.
• Lead and coordinate global sourcing initiatives across business units (e.g. Energy from Waste, Renewable Gas, Carbon Capture, Systems & Services).
• Contribute actively to strategic discussions by bringing market intelligence and sourcing insights.
• Combine reporting insights with personal sourcing experience to support management decisions.
• Ensure disciplined use of sourcing tools, ERP systems, and relevant processes.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide continuous feedback, and support individual development plans.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in sourcing or strategic procurement, team leadership, international experience
• Master's/ bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering or similar
• Fluent English, other languages will be considered as a plus
• Category management methodologies, supplier and contract management
• Player-coach leadership style with strategic thinking combined with strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Experience in a senior sourcing or lead role combining operational delivery and leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of global markets, supplier qualification, and sourcing strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex sourcing projects end to end.
