Qualifications

• 10+ years in sourcing or strategic procurement with international experience.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.
• Expertise in category management, supplier and contract management.
• Player-coach leadership with strategic thinking and strong negotiation skills.
• Experience leading senior sourcing roles with operational delivery and leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of global markets, supplier qualification, and sourcing strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex sourcing projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, complex, or business-critical sourcing across regions and business units.
• Conduct end-to-end sourcing activities including market analysis, global supplier scouting, supplier pre-qualification and benchmarking.
• Provide senior sourcing expertise in escalated or high-risk situations.
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of Global Sourcing Managers across regions.
• Define goals, priorities and expectations aligned with global business needs.
• Allocate sourcing work between the Team Lead and team members based on complexity, risk and capacity.
• Act as senior interface between internal stakeholders and the global sourcing organization.
• Capture and consolidate global sourcing demand across business units and functions.
• Lead and coordinate global sourcing initiatives across business units (Energy from Waste, Renewable Gas, Carbon Capture, Systems & Services).
• Contribute to strategic discussions with market intelligence and sourcing insights.
• Combine reporting insights with sourcing experience to support management decisions.
