Job summary

Ayatco International seeks a hands-on Group Financial Controller to oversee accounting, financial reporting and financial control across UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Based in Dubai, the role reports to the Group CEO and leads multi-country accounting operations.

The successful candidate will own the group’s accounting function, ensure accurate reporting, monitor cash flow and controls, coordinate year-end closes and audits, and drive process improvements with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of finance and accounting experience within the GCC.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is required.
• Master's degree in Accounting & Finance or professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA will be an advantage.
• Practical accounting experience in the UAE and Saudi Arabia; Qatar experience is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and monthly financial reporting across the group's three companies.
• Monitor cash flow, customer receivables, supplier payables, and operating expenses.
• Prepare monthly profit and loss reports and financial statements.
• Manage year-end financial closing and coordinate annual audits with external auditors.
• Ensure timely completion and approval of audited financial statements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with applicable local requirements.
• Coordinate with external accountants and tax advisors.
• Review and improve accounting procedures, financial controls, and reporting processes across the group.

Ayatco International is seeking a hands-on and experienced Group Financial Controller to oversee accounting, financial reporting, and financial control across its companies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

Based in Dubai and reporting directly to the Group CEO, the successful candidate will take ownership of the group's accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting, monitor business performance, and strengthen financial controls across the organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional with strong GCC accounting knowledge and the ability to independently manage multi-country financial operations.

• Currently based in Dubai and available for occasional short business trips to Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
